SQUARE 3D-MATERIAL: KARELINE COMPOSITE PLASTIC

The good and environmentally positive characteristics of natural fiber are combined in the Kareline composites with features of thermoplastic. Environmentally friendly twig pulp is used as a strengthening fiber, and carefully selected, pure thermoplastic is used as array material. Over half of the composite plastic is pulp fiber.

The materials do not include dangerous items for the nature and they can re-processed in the production. When necessary the products made of natural fiber composite products can at the end of their life cycle easily be transferred to energy by burning them. There will be no smoke or smell. The materials burn clearly. As an end result we'll get water and carbon dioxide. It’s important that the natural composite material does not when burning drop melted material like most of the plastic materials. Please, look the image comparing the burning of composite material to ADS plastic.

It’s easy to adopt Kareline composite for current products and production. Same machines and mould are workable. The cycle time of injection casting can be shorter than earlier.

Because as an end result of burning we'll get pure carbon dioxide and water, it’s possible to circulate the CO2 in the nature again and again and thus prevent CO2 to join with atmosphere. CO2 can possibly be reused after a hard development work. Additional information of Kareline composite plastics: Kareline Oy Ltd, Joensuu, Finland.
